On Sunday morning they announced the 5 finalists and to our surprise we were among the chosen. Back to the room to prepare the presentation to be delivered by 11.30 and ready to present at 13.00. The pity was that we did not have the chance to see the presentations of the previous teams. Our presentation went pretty well, even better than planned. Niina was great in the opening and the rest of the team followed the style and pace that she used. The jury went for deliberation for 30 minutes and after that came back with the result. The first prize for INSEAD, who according to everybody had the best content and financial support. But the surprise came when the jury mention our name and decided to give us two prizes, the second prize and the special prize for the innovative approach and outstanding presentation. We had just left behind the most expensive and well know business schools and MBAs.
El domingo por la mañana anunciaron los 5 finalistas y ante nuestra sorpresa fuimos elegidos. Nos volvimos a encerrar para terminar la presentación que debÃamos entregar antes de las 11.30 y presentar ante el jurado a las 13.00. La pena fue que nos perdimos la presentación de los equipos que presentaban delante de nosotros. Nuestra presentación fue muy bien, incluso mejor de lo que habÃamos planificado. Niina estuvo genial en la introducción y el resto del equipo siguió el ritmo y tono que ella habÃa marcado. El jurado se marcho para deliberar durante media hora. El primer premio fue para INSEAD, quien de acuerdo con todo el mundo fue superior en el análisis financiero. Pero la sorpresa llego cuando el jurado menciono nuestro nombre y decidió otorgarnos dos premios. El segundo premio y el premio especial del jurado por nuestra estrategia innovadora y nuestra excelente presentación. Acabábamos de dejar detrás a las mas prestigiosas escuelas de negocios de Europa.
